Welcome to your personalized project tracker for your new branding & web project with Alyssa Joy & Co. Here on this page you will find a timeline for the project, along with the deadlines for all the elements I will need from you along the way. I will also add in links to your drafts so that it can all be referenced in one oh so organized place!

 

First, a few "house rules" to go over - then we will dive in! Please be sure to review our policies below.

Now let's jump into the timeline and all the fun that is coming your way!


One Week Prior To Start Date: 
July 25th


Day Prior To Start Date: 
July 31st


BRANDING DESIGN PHASE

The drafting has begun!! Alyssa Joy is compiling inspiration from your boards and questionnaires and hitting the drawing board to develop the perfect brand just for you and your business!

1.5 Weeks Post Start Date: 
August 10th

Be sure to respond via email with your comments and or revisions so that we can keep the process moving right along! Thank you!


Around Two Weeks Post Start Date: 
Approx. August 15th

Once revisions are complete and your satisfied with your branding design please go ahead and sign your artwork approval for your brand design so we can move on to the next phase!


COLLATERAL DESIGN PHASE

Now comes the fun of designing your business card as well as your three chosen add-on items!
(Remember, these were chosen when you signed your contract, you are welcome to change them at a later point in the process, but you will incur a $25 change fee.)

Two Weeks Post Start Date: 
August 15th

QUESTIONNAIRES DUE!

The drafting begins!! Alyssa Joy is compiling beautiful collateral designs for your in the way of business cards and other add-ons! Be on the look out for drafts!

Once your website questionnaire is filled out Alyssa Joy will create specific Dropbox folders for each of your web pages.


2.5 Weeks Post Start Date: 
August 17th

Website Content & Images

Please begin putting all necessary text/content and images in the appropriate folders in your Dropbox. This is very important as it allows for the best design possible for your website if we have all the content on the web design start day!

THESE SHOULD ALL BE COMPLETELY UPLOADED BY AUGUST 29th! Please and thank you!!

Please take some time do some research of site setups/looks that you like and bust out that Pinterest board again for me  - so we can take a look at what you're wanting! 


COLLATERAL DESIGN APPROVAL PHASE

Weeks 4 & 5 Post Start Date: 
Approx. August 29th - September 9th

See and revise your business card & add-on items.

 

Once revisions are complete and your satisfied with your branding design please go ahead and sign your artwork approvals (linked above) for your collateral materials so we can move on to the next phase!

 


WEBSITE DESIGN PHASE

4.5 Weeks Post Start Date: 
August 31st

SQUARESPACE INFORMATION
Be sure that you email me your login information so I can get to work! 

SOCIAL MEDIA INFORMATION
If you want your social media accounts integrated into your website (I highly recommend this!), please email me your login & password information for each social media account. 

DOMAIN INFORMATION
If you have already purchased a third-party domain - please go ahead and send me this login information as well so we can connect your site.


Beginning Week 5 Post Start Date: 
September 5th

The designing and setup has begun!! Alyssa Joy is compiling inspiration from your board pins and questionnaires and hitting the developer site of Squarespace to come up with the perfect site just for you and your business! Of course we know we can't technically keep you from logging in and taking a peek, BUT we'd love to surprise you with all the beauty when the first setup draft is finished!

Expect Some Emails!

There will probably be lots of going back and forth by email while you wait - so don't worry, you won't be bored! 


WEB REVISIONS

Approx. Week 7.5 Post Start Date: 
Around September 21st

We should be nearing the completion of your first website draft - take a look! Then give me your feedback on what revisions you'd like!

Once we've finished up all the revisions - you know the drill! 

To save on editing time and so that we can make sure things are taken care of well before launch day, please be concise with your revisions and send them over in one email per round. Up to two revision rounds are included in your original contract price. If additional revisions rounds are necessary, charges may be incurred.

Post Launch Support

Alyssa Joy provides two weeks of post-launch support. This includes troubleshooting and back-end support, not major design changes as you have already signed the artwork approval.
